What is a

Pop Up Choir?

The Showtime Singers is a fun and exciting monthly singing event with all your favourite broadway hits! In comparison to the usual choir set up, the pop up choir is low commitment with no pressure to learn lyrics or parts and is open to everyone.

The sessions will run on the last Wednesday of the month 7:30pm - 9pm.

Will there be performances?

There are no plans to organise concerts or performances. We may have an end of year open session where we invite friends and family to listen or record our best bits.

How will we learn the music?

All vocal parts will be taught by a musical score which you will have a copy of for reference. You will be emailed your score which you can print at home or download onto a tablet, phone or iPad. Your sheet music is included in the booking and is yours to keep. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

When & Where?

The Showtime Singers will take place on the last Wednesday of the month, 7:30pm - 9pm at New Horizon Church, Langley Mill, NG16 3RZ

Each session is at a slightly higher rate than a typical weekly choir membership due to the high value experience.

Help! I've never used sheet music before!

If you are new to reading music, our choral leader will support you in following your part. Please note that it is the responsibility of the singer to organise their sheet music either via download or home printing. No physical copies will be provided by the choral leader at the pop up choir event. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

There are ten sessions per year meeting February to November. There are no sessions in December or January. â€‹

Event & booking policy Once you’ve bought your booking, it’s yours! Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds if your plans change or you can no longer attend.  Can’t Make It? Pass It On! We get it – life happens! If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend.   To do this, email info @charlottemendly.com at least 48 hours before the event with: * Your name and email address (that the ticket was purchased with) * The name and email address of the person taking your place 
We’ll update our guest list so they can enjoy the event on your behalf.  If we have to reschedule the session your booking will still be valid! If we cancel (but we really hope we don’t!) then of course you will get a full refund. To cancel your Pop Up Show Choir membership, email info@charlottemendly.com. As it's a subscription service that renews monthly after an initial 3-month commitment, you must cancel before the renewal date to stop charges. You can manage payments and cancellations by contacting support for any issues, with a 14-day cooling-off period from sign-up.
